THE ISLINGTON (MOVING TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) TRAFFIC ORDER (NO. 14) 2025

1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on Thursday 27 November 2025 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.

2) The general effect of the Order which will come into effect on Friday 28 November would be to lift the banned right turn from New North Road onto Essex Road for vehicles weighing under 7.5 tonnes.

3) A copy of the made Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection. Copies of these documents may be obtained either by emailing environment@islington.gov.uk, by telephoning Environment on 020 7527 2000 or by sending a postal request to Environment, 1 Cottage Road, London N7 8TP, citing scheme 8444. You can arrange an inspection in person by emailing environment@islington.gov.uk or calling 020 7527 2000.

4) Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it or they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may apply to the High Court within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made.
