THE ISLINGTON (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

THE ISLINGTON (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.

2) The general effect of the Orders would be to, on Dalmeny Road, north of its junction with Anson Road, south of the existing ‘no motor vehicles’ restriction:

a) extend the existing ‘no motor vehicles’ restriction approximately 6.4 metres to the south-east;

b) on the north-east side, replace three echelon resident parking spaces with a ‘no waiting at any time’ restriction; and

c) adjust the existing ‘no waiting at any time’ restriction approximately 6.4 metres south-east to match the new kerb layout.

3) A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection. Copies of these documents may be obtained either by emailing environment@islington.gov.uk, by telephoning Environment on 020 7527 2000 or by sending a postal request to Environment, 1 Cottage Road, London N7 8TP. You can arrange an inspection in person by emailing environment@islington.gov.uk or calling 020 7527 2000.

4) Any person who wishes to object, or to make other representations about the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing, specifying the grounds on which they are made to Islington Environment, P O Box 2025, PERSHORE, WR10 9BU (quoting reference 8602) or by emailing environment@islington.gov.uk, within the period of twenty-one days from the date on which this Notice is published.
