LONDON BOROUGH OF ISLINGTON
THE ISLINGTON (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*
THE ISLINGTON (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*
1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.
2) The general effect of the Orders would be to, on Wall Street:
a) outside No. 57 Wall Street, relocate the existing dedicated disabled parking bay (DB393) to outside No. 53 Wall Street and replace its previous extent with an extension to the existing adjacent resident permit parking bay;
b) outside Ongar House, add three resident permit parking bays and two disabled parking bays;
c) outside Nos. 51–53 Wall Street, add two resident permit parking bays and one disabled parking bay; and
d) on both sides, along its entire length up to the vehicular entrance to Ilford House (Dover Court Estate), introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions, except where existing parking bays are already situated (outside No. 63 Wall Street and outside Nos. 57–59 Wall Street), or where parking bays are being introduced as described in 2(a)–2(c).
3) A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection. 4) Any person who wishes to object, or to make other representations about the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing, specifying the grounds on which they are made to Islington Environment, P O Box 2025, PERSHORE, WR10 9BU (quoting reference 8652) or by emailing environment@islington.gov.uk, within the period of twenty-one days from the date on which this Notice is published.
