THE ISLINGTON (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 27) ORDER 2025
THE ISLINGTON (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 27) ORDER 2025
1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on Thursday 27 November 2025 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9, to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.
2) The general effect of the Orders which come into force on Friday 28 November and enable the introduction of greening areas, would be to:
a) remove an 11m long shared-use parking bay outside 85 Hazellville Road;
b) reduce the extent of the 11.6m long shared-use parking bay outside No. 71 Ronalds Road, by 6 metres;
c) reduce the extent of the 11.6m long shared-use parking bay located 9 metres west of the location described in 2(b), by 6.1 metres;
d) introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions along the extent of kerb line where parking would be reduced or removed on Hazellville Road and Ronalds Road;
e) make the existing waiting restrictions on the western side of the junction of Ronalds Road and Battledean Road, apply at all times, from a point 4.4 metres south-west of the boundary between No. 1a Battledean Road and 73 Ronalds Road, up to the parking bay outside No. 71 Ronalds Road.
3) A copy of the made Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection. 4) Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it or they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may apply to the High Court within six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made.
