DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES – SCHEDULES 245, 246, 247 & 248

THE CROYDON (ON-STREET CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (NO. 23) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 01 December 2025 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
a) Designate new and amended parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.
| Avenue Road, South Norwood: | Adjacent to the flank wall of No.1 Springfield |
| Bredon Road, Croydon: | Outside No. 38 and partially across the frontage of No. 36 |
| Boulogne Road, Croydon: | Partially outside Nos. 14 and 16 (replaces one space in a permit/payment bay) |
| The Waldrons, Croydon: | Outside No. 16 and partially across the frontage of No. 15 (replaces one space in a permit/payment bay) |
| West Street, Croydon: | Outside No. 36 and partially across the frontage of No.35 (replaces one space in a permit/payment bay) |
b) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 15 December 2025, and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 10am and 6pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET. Alternatively, all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk.
3. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
