NORTHUMBERLAND ROAD AREA –SINUSOIDAL ROAD HUMPS
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO CONSTRUCT ROAD HUMPS UNDER SECTION 90 HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Harrow proposes to construct sinusoidal road humps in roads including and surrounding Northumberland Road, as detailed below, under the powers conferred by the Highways Act 1980, and under all other enabling powers.
Therefore, full carriageway width, 3700mm metre long sinusoidal road humps of no more than 100mm high are proposed at the following locations;

A copy of the proposals and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the works can be inspected until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays. The proposals can also be viewed @ www.harrow.gov.uk/trafficorders

Persons desiring to make comment or object to the proposals should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the address below or via email to; Strategic Head of Traffic, Highways and Asset Management at transportation@harrow.gov.uk quoting reference 25-08v2 NS. The deadline for objections is 23.59 hours on 24th December 2025.
