The Farm Sustainability Standards The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Farm Sustainability Standards (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2025 (SR 2025 No.191) which comes into effect on 1 January 2026 and is subject to the negative resolution procedure. The rule was made under powers conferred by sections 48 and 50(3)(a) of, and paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to, the Agriculture Act 2020 and makes amendments to SR2025 No.165 The Farm Sustainability Standards Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2025.
