The Green Space forms part of open space land at Lyttleton Playing Fields in the London Borough of Barnet and is freehold land held by the Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Barnet (“the Council”). The Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE pursuant to ss. 123(1) and (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), that the Council intends to grant a lease of the Green Space to the Trustees of the Bishopswood Bowling Club (“the Club”) for a term of years expiring on 31st July 2050. Copies of the plan showing the land to be leased can be found on the Council Website (https://www.barnet.gov.uk/sites/default/files/lease_plan_2.pdf). Hard copies are also available for inspection as is the lease by prior appointment at the main reception at London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW. Appointments are available between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Any objection or representation in respect of the proposed lease of The Green Space must be made in writing to the Growth Directorate, Property Services by email to estates.businesssupport@barnet.gov.uk to reach them by no later than Thursday 8th January 2026
