THE BRENT (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. *) ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent (‘the Council’) propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) prohibit motor vehicles from entering Church Path, between Church Road and 19 metres south-east of Fortunegate Road;
(b) replace zone HY permit holders parking places in Brownlow Road with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions on:
(i) the north-west side, from Nos. 8 and 10 Brownlow, north-eastward for 11.6 metres; and
(ii) the south-east side, from Nos. 1A and 1 Brownlow Road, south-westward for 9.8 metres,
(c) replace in Fortunegate Road:
(i) ‘controlled hours’ waiting restrictions and 6.3 metres of zone HY permit holders parking places with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions on the north-west side, from Nos. 141 and 143 Fortunegate Road, south-westward for 8.4 metres;
(ii) zone HY permit holders parking places with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions on the south-east side, from the north-eastern boundary of No. 143 Fortunegate Road, south-westward for 11 metres;
(iii) shared-use zone HY permit holders and 4-hour pay parking places with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions on the north-west side, from 1.7 metres north-east of the south-western boundary of No. 145 Fortunegate Road, north-eastward for 6.4 metres;
(iv) disabled person’s parking places with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions on the south-east side, from 1.7 metres north-east of the south-western boundary of No. 145 Fortunegate Road, north-eastward for 6.5 metres; and
(v) shared-use zone HY permit holders and 4-hour pay parking places with disabled person’s parking places on the south-east side, from 8.2 metres north-east of the south-western boundary of No. 145 Fortunegate Road, north-eastward for 5.4 metres,
(d) replace zone HY permit holders parking places in Leopold Road with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions:
(i) on the north-west side, from 1 metre south-west of the north-eastern boundary of No. 2 Leopold Road, south-westward for 13.9 metres; and
(ii) on the south-east side, from the north-eastern boundary of No. 2 Leopold Road, south-westward for 11 metres; and
(e) replace zone HY permit holders parking places in Redfern Road with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions:
(i) on the north-west side, from 2.5 metres north-east of Nos. 64 and 66 Redfern Road, south-westward for 10.1 metres; and
(ii) on the south-east side of Redfern Road, from 2 metres south-west of Nos. 67 and 69 Redfern Road, south-westward for 9.1 metres.
3. Further notice is hereby given that the Council, under sections 90A-F of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, propose to:-
(a) re-configure the existing raised table in Leopold Road so that it extends from the north-eastern boundary of No. 2 Leopold Road, north-eastward for 7.50 metres (5.80-metre table-top length); and
(b) re-configure the existing raised table in Fortunegate Road so that it extends from a point 0.50 metre south-west of the north-eastern boundary of No. 143 Fortunegate Road, north-eastward for 7.50 metres (5.80-metre table-top length).
4. Further notice is hereby given that the Council, under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, have approved the provision of parallel pedestrian and cycle crossings:
(a) in Leopold Road, on the raised table referred to in paragraph 3(a) preceding, having a length of 5.50 metres, with its centre line at a point 3.00 metres north-east of the north-eastern boundary of No. 2 Leopold Road;
(b) in Fortunegate Road, on the raised table referred to in paragraph 3(b) preceding, having a length of 5.50 metres, with its centre line at a point 3.00 metres north-east of the north-eastern boundary of No. 143 Fortunegate Road.
The ‘controlled area’ in which waiting and loading is prohibited at all times, would apply on both the approach and exit sides of the crossings.
5. Further notice is hereby given that the Council, under section 65 of the Highways Act 1980, propose to provide shared footway and cycle tracks:
(a) in Church Path, between its junction with Church Road and a point 19.00 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Fortunegate Road;
(b) on the existing footway on the north-west side of Fortunegate Road, from a point 2.00 metres south-west of the north-eastern boundary of No. 143 Fortunegate Road north-eastward for 10.00 metres;
(c) on the existing footway on the south-east side of Fortunegate Road, from the north-eastern boundary of No. 122 Fortunegate Road north-eastward for 11.00 metres;
(d) on the existing footway on the north-west side of Leopold Road, from a point 2.80 metres south-west of the north-eastern boundary of No. 2 Leopold Road north-eastward for 20.00 metres; and
(e) on the existing footway on the south-east side of Leopold Road, from a point 4.00 metres south-west of the north-eastern boundary of No. 1 Leopold Road north-eastward for 13.50 metres.
6. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans indicating the proposals can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

8. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to the proposals or to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in writing to the Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/25/142/GD, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
