NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
AYLESFORD NEWSPRINT PENSION PLAN
The Aylesford Newsprint Pension Plan (the "Plan”) is winding up. The Trustees intend to distribute the Plan's assets in accordance with the Plan's governing documentation and secure members' benefits either by the purchase of annuities with Just Retirement Limited or transfer payments to other registered pension schemes.
Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, any persons having a claim or an interest in the Plan established under trust are required to send particulars thereof in writing to the administrators of the Plan within two (2) months of the date of publication. After that date, the assets of the Plan will be distributed having regard only to claims and interests of which the Trustees had notice.
The Trustees shall not be liable to any person of whose claim or interest they have not received in respect of the assets of the Plan or any part of it so distributed.
The following individual are requested to write to the Trustees of the Aylesford Newsprint Pension Plan c/o Vidett Forbury Works 37-43 Blagrave street, Reading RG1 1PZ
• any employee or former employee of Aylesford Newsprint Holdings Limited, Aylesford Newsprint Limited or any other company within the Aylesford Newsprint Group who believes they were a Plan member and who is not already receiving a pension in respect of their Plan membership or has not received any correspondence from the Trustees in the last 6 months;
• any person who believes themselves to be a Plan beneficiary as the widow, widower, civil partner or dependant of a deceased member; and
• any other person who believes they have a claim against, or an interest, in the Plan.
You should include details of your full name, date of birth, address and any benefits to which you think you are entitled.
If you already receive a pension from the Plan, or you have received a letter from the Trustees regarding the winding up of the Plan or any correspondence from the Trustees within the last 6 months, you do not need to write to the Plan administrators.
