LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 (“THE ACT”)
THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY hereby gives you notice that it proposes to make an order under Section 247 of the Act (“Order”) to authorise the stopping up of highway maintainable at public expense which is shown hatched black on the plan attached to the draft Order and is described as follows:
“part of Ellington Road from the entrance pier and wall of 12D Ellington Road to the junction of the north east corner of the rear garden of 20 Cranley Gardens, between the line of the concrete paving slabs, on the existing pavement, and the building known as 10 Ellington Road, comprising a maximum length of 26.511 metres and a maximum width of 2.033 metres”
IF THE ORDER IS MADE the stopping up with be authorised to enable the development described below which will be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act on 26 April 2024 with planning reference HGY/2023/1406:
“Demolition of the existing buildings and erection of 5 replacement dwellings, arranged as two terraced houses and three flats at 10 Ellington Road.”
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND THE RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE between 09:00AM and 17:00PM during the 28 days commencing on 31st December 2025 at River Park House, 225 High Rd, Wood Green, London, N22 8HQ (quoting reference: 80770)
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the Order within 28 days commencing on 31st December 2025 by writing to the Director of Legal and Governance, Alexandra House, 10 Station Rd, London N22 7TY (quoting refence: 80770).
ANY OBJECTION MUST BE RECEIVED BY 30th January 2026.
In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it, and those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
