LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
THE BROMLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) ORDER 2003 (AMENDMENT NO. 255) ORDER 2026
THE BROMLEY (PARKING PLACES) (ON STREET PLACES) ORDER 2004 (AMENDMENT NO. 157) ORDER 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) Extend the single yellow line outside No. 18 Yew Tree Road as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
(b) Reduce the parking bays outside No.18 Yew Tree Road as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
(c) Convert the Pay and Display parking to Permit Holders Only, on the north side, Yew Tree Road, between its junction with Croydon Road and No. 18 Yew Tree Road as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
Copies of the proposed Order, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1DP, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk. quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/T821 not later than 11th February 2026.
Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
SCHEDULE 1: -
WAITING RESTRICTIONS
YEW TREE ROAD: On the northside, extend the single yellow line from a point 10 metres southeast of the common boundary of Nos.17 and 18 northwest for 9.5 metres.
SCHEDULE 2: -
PARKING PLACES
YEW TREE ROAD,
(a) The northside, reduce the parking bays outside No.18 Yew Tree Road by 4 metres, from a point 10.3 southeast of the northwest extremity of Yew Tree Road
(b) The northside, convert and change the restriction time on the pay and display bays located on Yew Tree Road between its junction with Croydon Road and No.18 Yew Tree Road, to permit holders bays only. Monday-Friday 10am-until noon.
