LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
THE BROMLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) ORDER 2003 (AMENDMENT NO. 253) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) Amend ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
(b) Amend the waiting and loading restrictions as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
Copies of the proposed Order, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1DP, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk. quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/T811 not later than 11th February 2026.
Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting at Any Time: -
LOVIBONDS AVENUE, ORPINGTON:
(a) The northside, from a point on the extended common boundary of Nos. 64/66 Lovibonds Avenue to a point 23.1 metres northwards
(b) the northeast side, from a point 36.3 metres northeast of the boundary of No.13 Lovibonds Avenue north eastwards for 6.5 metres
(c) The northwest side from a point 3.4 metres southwest of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos.50 and 52 north-eastwards to a point 7.7 metres opposite the common boundary of Nos. 52 and 54.

LOVIBONDS AVENUE, ORPINGTON,
(a) The northside, from a point 4.9 metres northeast of the extended norther-most building line of No.13 Lovibonds Avenue for 31.4 metres northwards
(b) The southside, from the northeastern building line of No.4 north-eastwards to a point 5 metres northeast of the southwestern boundary of No.40 Lovibonds Avenue
(c) The southside, from a point on the extended common boundary of Nos.72 and 74 Lovibonds Avenue to the common boundary of Nos. 108 and 110 Lovibonds Avenue north-eastwards
(d)The northside, from a point 19.9 metres south of the extended kerbline of Mada Road at its junction with Lovibonds Avenue for 92.5 metres southwards
(e) The southwest side, from a point 1.8 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 66 and 68 to a point 5 metres north of the common boundary of Nos 68 and 70 Lovibonds Avenue
(f) The southeast side, from a point 5 metres northeast of the southwestern building line of No.40 Lovibonds Avenue northeastern wards to a point 1.8 metres south of the common boundary of Nos.66 and 68 Lovibonds Avenue
(g) The northwest side, remove the single yellow line from a point 3.4 metres north of the extended common boundary of No. 48 and 50 Lovibonds Avenue to a point 17.2 southwards.
