1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Parking Acts of 1986 and 1989 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to impose, on the additional dates, the system of traffic and parking control, operating in the Wembley Stadium Area when the major Event is taking place at the stadium. The new dates to be added are:-

22nd, 27th and 31st March 2026,

12th, 14th, 18th, 25th and 26th April 2026,

10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st May 2026,

7th, 12th, 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, 26th, 27th and 29th June 2026,

1st, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 18th, 19th, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 28th and 31st July 2026,

1st, 2nd, 9th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 18th, 19th and 30th August 2026,

4th, 6th, 9th, 12th, 19th and 20th or 21st or 22nd or 23rd or 24th or 25th or 26th or 27th or 28th or 29th or 30th September 2026,

1st or 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th or 6th or 7th or 8th or 9th or 10th or 11th or 12th or 13th and 18th October 2026,

9th or 10th or 11th or 12th or 13th or 14th or 15th or 16th or 17th and 24th or 25th or 26th, 27th or 28th or 29th or 30th November 2026,

1st or 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th December 2026.

Note – The South Way two-way traffic flow scheme is expected to operate on the above specified date.

3. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the relevant Orders of 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 (and of the Orders which have amended those Orders), of maps of the relevant area and of the Council's statement of reasons for making the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

5. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to any of the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, to Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley HA9 0FJ, or via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, quoting the reference TO/12/305/GD, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.
