1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent, under sections 90A-F of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, propose to:

(a) replace the existing speed cushions at the locations in the Chapter Road area specified in the Schedule to this Notice with sinusoidal road humps;

(b) construct two new sinusoidal road humps outside Balmoral Road (outside Nos.83/85 and outside Nos. 69/71);

2. The road humps will be constructed over the full width of the carriageway with a round top sinusoidal profile. Each road hump will be 3.7 metres in length with a maximum height of 75mm.

4. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed sinusoidal road humps should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in the post to the Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking Service, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/24/144/GD, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.
