1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent (‘the Council’) propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) prohibit motor vehicles from entering Priory Park Road, between Kilburn High Road and the existing closure adjacent to Priory Mansions;
(b) exempt goods vehicles from the prohibition referred to in paragraph (a) above, between Kilburn High Road and a point 8 metres south-west of Glengall Passage (to allow access to the loading bays in this length of road);
(c) remove all existing parking places (“pay & display”. “shared use” and motorcycle parking area) from the length of Priory Park Road referred to in paragraph (a) above;
(d) provide a new loading bay (10 metres in length) on the north-west side of Priory Park Road, approximately 15 metres south-west of Kilburn High Road. The loading bay would operate “at any time” for a maximum stay of 30 minutes and no return within 1 hour. The existing loading bay on the south-east side will remain;
(e) introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions in the length of Priory Park Road referred to in paragraph (b) above, except in the designated loading bays.
3. Copies of the proposed Orders and the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans indicating the proposals can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

5. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in the post to the Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking Service, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/25/149/GD, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.
