NOTICE is hereby given that London Borough of Brent intends to apply to Willesden Magistrates Court sitting at 448 High Road, London, NW10 2DZ on 16 April 2026 at 2pm for an order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 that the area of highway described in The Schedule hereto shall be stopped up on the grounds that the same is unnecessary as highway.

A copy of the draft Order and Plan may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays (excluding bank holidays and public holidays at Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ from 16 March 2026 to 13 April 2026.

Any person to whom this Notice has been given or who uses the highway specified or who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order may appear before the Magistrates’ Court to raise an objection or make a representation on the application. Any person intending to appear before the Magistrates' Court at the hearing of the application is requested to inform San Pirabaharan at san.pirabaharan@brent.gov.uk before the DATE OF HEARING 16 April 2026 quoting reference TSU/22/686SUE.

The part of the highway footway comprising pedestrian areas to the south of Engineers Way and parts of the carriageways of Olympic Way East and Olympic Way West shown hatched black on drawing number TPHS-434-DR-001.
