THE BRENT (BUS PRIORITY) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

THE BRENT (WEMBLEY STADIUM AREA) (BUS PRIORITY) (NO. 1, 2017) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent (‘the Council’) on 27th April 2026 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the ‘bus priority’ Orders will be to change the operational hours of the existing bus lanes in:-

(a) Dudden Hill Lane, between Normanby Road and Burnley Road, from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday to 7.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday;

(b) Forty Lane, near Mount Drive, from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays to 7.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday;

(c) Hillside, between North Circular Road and Wesley Road, from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. Monday to Sunday and 7.00 a.m. midnight on event days to ‘at any time’;

(d) Kingsbury Road, between Derwent Avenue and Edgware Road, from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays to 7.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 11th May 2026, of maps of the relevant areas and of the above-mentioned Orders of 2017 (and of the Orders which have amended those Orders) can be requested via email during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley HA9 0FJ.

4. Copies of the Orders may be purchased from the address mentioned in paragraph 3 above.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
