LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

THE BRENT (SPEED LIMITS) (NO. 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent (‘the Council’) on 27th April 2026 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the ‘Speed Limits’ Order will be to impose a maximum speed limit of 20 miles per hour in:-

(a) Brentfield Road, between its junction with North Circular Road and its junction with Craven Park and Hillside;

(b) Harrow Road, between its junction with Scrubs Lane and its junction with Kilburn Lane and Ladbroke Grove;

(c) Robson Avenue, between its junction with the northern arm of Harlesden Road and its junction with the southern arm of Harlesden Road;

(d) Willesden Lane, between its junction with Kilburn High Road and its junction with Cavendish Road and The Avenue.

3. A copy of the made Order, which will come into force on 11th May 2026, of maps which indicate each road to which the Order relates, can be requested via email during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order are made at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley HA9 0FJ.

4. A copy of the Order may be purchased from the address mentioned in paragraph 3 above.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which any of the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
