CITY OF LONDON (VARIOUS POWERS) ACT 1967

Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London (hereinafter called “the Corporation”), acting by the Planning and Transportation Committee, have made a resolution under section 6 of the City of London (Various Powers) Act 1967.

The resolution varies the declaration of an area as City Walkway made by the Corporation on the 17 of July 1986 (“the 1986 Resolution”) to discontinue the City Walkway shown cross hatched in yellow on the City Walkway rescission plan attached to the resolution titled “The City Walkway Footbridge” and with drawing number 7146_A03-FPA-ZZZ- 100L-DR-A-990014 Revision P01. This being the walkway forming the footbridge over Wormwood Street connecting 55 Old Broad Street and the City Walkway at 99 Bishopsgate, London EC2M.

The resolution will take effect from 8 July 2026.

Copies of the variation and declaration and accompanying plans of the same may be inspected without charge at the offices of the City of London Corporation, Guildhall North Wing, Basinghall Street, London, EC2V 7HH during normal office hours, and may be obtained without charge by e-mailing Transport.Planning@CityOfLondon.Gov.UK, until 7 July 2026 this being 28 days from the date of publication of this notice.
