Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London (hereinafter called “the City Corporation”), acting by the Planning and Transportation Committee, have made two resolutions under section 6 of the City of London (Various Powers) Act 1967.

The first resolution varies the declaration of an area as City Walkway made by the City Corporation on the 20th of April 1993 (“the 1993 Resolution”) to exclude the areas of land at Alban Highwalk as shown shaded in pink on the plan attached to the resolution titled “Podium Level – City Walkway Area to Be Rescinded” and with drawing number D6228D0702 Revision I2. This being a combined area of approximately 204 square metres of the Alban Highwalk adjacent to Alban Gate, 125-130 London Wall, London EC2.

The second resolution declares as City Walkway all that way or place known as land at Alban Highwalk as shown shaded in green on the plan attached to the resolution titled “Podium Level – City Walkway Are to Be Dedicated” and with drawing number D6228D0902 Revision I3 adjacent to Alban Gate, 125-130 London Wall, London EC2.

The resolution will take effect from 8 July 2026.

Copies of the variation and declaration and accompanying plans of the same may be inspected without charge at the offices of the City of London Corporation, Guildhall North Wing, Basinghall Street, London, EC2V 7HH during normal office hours, and may be obtained without charge by e-mailing Transport.Planning@CityOfLondon.Gov.UK, until 7 July 2026 this being 28 days from the date of publication of this notice.
