LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

THE BROMLEY (LOADING PLACES) ORDER 2009 (AMENDMENT NO. ***) ORDER 20**

(HIGH STREET, ORPINGTON)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order would be to:

(a) Amend the existing times of a Loading Bay operating Monday to Saturday between 8:30am-6:30pm, 30 minutes, no return within 1 hour to Monday to Sunday between 8:30am-6:30pm, 1 hour no return within 1-hour as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the proposed Order, associated plan and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Assistant Director of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk quoting reference ADE(TP)/DN/SF/T840 no later than 1st July 2026.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE 1: -

LOADING BAY

Monday to Sunday between 8:30am-6:30pm, 1 hour, no return within 1-hour

HIGH STREET, Orpington, the north-west side, from a point 1.2 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 196 and 198 in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 25.5 metres.
